The events calendar in Da Nang changes every week, and events can be postponed or moved at the last minute. That is why our Events section only publishes a specific event when there is an official source, with a link to it. This post shows you how to find and check the weekend schedule yourself.
Where to find official information
- The information portal and media pages of the City People’s Committee and of the ward you live in.
- The pages of the city department or agency in charge of tourism and culture.
- The official page of the organiser: theatre, cultural centre, museum, park, shopping mall.
- The official ticketing page, if the event is ticketed.
Check again before you go
- The date, time and venue match across at least two official sources.
- Whether the event is paid or free, and whether you need to register or buy a ticket in advance.
- Whether there is a notice of postponement or a schedule change due to the weather.
- Road closures, parking areas and crowded hours.
Tips for newcomers
- Subscribe to notifications from a few official channels instead of relying on word of mouth.
- Ask your neighbours and landlord about local activities in your ward.
- Be wary of “black market” tickets and of events with no clear organiser.
